Getting married?

I photograph weddings on film with a pinhole camera. I am NOT a replacement for your regular wedding photography but a supplement to them. I will give you copies of the images that I make on an archival inkjet printer on archival all-cotton paper. The images are frameable and are works of art in their own right.

How is pinhole photography at a wedding different than regular photography either digital or film?

First, I do not do many photographs. Usually between 4 and 10. Depending on the available light, I will make exposures between 10 and 30 minutes. My photographs are different from the mainstream and works of art which you will want to display. People move quickly and generally only show as shadowy figures in pinhole photography. They are wedding photographs without recognizable people.

Pricing

My prices begin at $1500.00 which includes two meetings with you (before and after the wedding), shooting the wedding of course and prints of all the photographs I deem are good, always at least four photographs, any size you choose up to 17 x 22 inches. The negatives are professionally developed, and I personally scan them and print them. Please see the weddings below that turned out well and please let me know what you think.

Venues vary tremendously with weddings and I have shot many weddings with regular film and now do only pinhole. In pinhole, I have shot weddings outside and some very dark venues inside (parties in bars and wedding ceremonies in dark places). Flash does not work with pinhole and so I go with the available light: usually, for the ceremony, which is the most important part, I take one image that is exposed for the entire length of the ceremony. Most ceremonies last about 30 minutes but sometimes they are longer or shorter. It so far has worked.

My guarantee: If it happens that no film comes out (it never has happened), I give you your money back.
